Please read these conditions carefully before using the “warmfloor24.co.uk” website. By using this website, you agree to these conditions. If you do not agree to these terms and conditions in their entirety please leave this website.
1. ACCESS TO WARMFLOOR24.CO.UK
We will do our utmost to ensure that availability of the website will be uninterrupted and that transmissions will be error-free. However, due to the nature of the Internet, this cannot be guaranteed. Also, your access to the website may also be occasionally suspended or restricted to allow for repairs, maintenance, or the introduction of new facilities or services. We will attempt to limit the frequency and duration of any such suspension or restriction.
These Terms and Conditions apply to all contracts for the sale of goods by us to you. No amendment, alteration, waiver or cancellation of any of these Terms is binding on Warmfloor24 unless confirmed by us in writing.
3. PRINTING & PRICING ERRORS
We try to be very competitive with our prices but should a product be listed at an incorrect price due to typographical error, we shall have the right to refuse or cancel any orders listed at the incorrect price whether or not the order has been confirmed. If you already have paid and we subsequently cancel your order, we will immediately issue a credit to you in the full amount of the cancelled order.
For our website we are using standardized pictures. Therefore the colour of our products can differ to the displayed photographs. We cannot be held responsible if the colour you buy is not the same as displayed.
Beyond what we say on that page or otherwise on the website, we cannot be more specific about availability. Please note that delivery estimates are just that. They are not guaranteed times and should be not relied upon as such. As we process your order, we will inform you by e-mail or phone if any products you order turn out to be unavailable.
When you are using any services of this website or sending e-mails to us, you are communicating with us electronically. When you place an order you will automatically receive an e-mail confirmation. Please check that the details contained in this e-mail are correct, including your delivery address. This e-mail is neither an invoice nor formal acceptance of your order. All orders for goods are taken as an offer by you and are subject to acceptance by the seller. We may choose not to accept an order for any reason.
If you have made a mistake in your order and need to make any changes please e-mail us immediately.
All items ordered will be delivered as soon as possible within the next few working days to the delivery address given. For any delays caused by our courier, we cannot be held liable.
All parcels will require a signature on delivery. If no one is at home when the courier attempts to deliver your parcel, a card will be left with a contact number for you to arrange a new delivery date. Please note that all parcels will be returned to us after 7 days.
The risk of loss and damage of products passes to you on the date when the products are delivered.
Warmfloor24 repairs free of charge any products damaged in transit, provided that we received a notification in writing, including pictures of the damaged goods, within 24h after the delivery.
All prices are in £ sterling, inclusive of VAT at 20%.
We accept PayPal and most major credit and debit cards. We will require cardholder’s full details including name, address and telephone number as registered with the bank. Incorrect information will cause a delay in processing your order. Your order will only be processed once authorization of your credit card has been properly received. Other payment methods e.g. cheque or postal orders we cannot accept. We reserve the right to cancel your order if for any reason we deem the transaction to be fraudulent and in this instance your debit card will be refunded.
8. RETURNS POLICY
We will refund or exchange any item you are not completely happy with when you return it to us in a saleable condition within 14 days of the item being delivered. Please return items in their original packaging, unused and with all manuals to the following address:
We always do require that you email us prior to returning goods.
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item(s). Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
The risk of loss and damage of products will be on your side until we will receive it.
Returns will not be accepted if the goods have been partially or completely fixed or installed. Furthermore, no returns will be accepted after the statutory 14 day cancellation period. Where returned goods are found to be damaged due to your own fault you will be liable for the costs of remedying such damage. If the remedying is no longer possible the total costs of the item will be charged to you.
You must tell the customer if they will be responsible for paying for the return of goods if they cancel. If you don’t, they’re not liable for the costs.
Our cables and mats come with a lifetime guarantee providing they have been installed in accordance with the manufacturers guidelines. Any failure to do this will result in a void of guarantee.
This warranty does not cover any installation mistakes or faults caused by misuse/incorrect design/damage caused by others and/or any other subsequent damage that may occur during floor covering installation, (system must be checked before, during and after installation is completed), failure to do this will also result in a void in guarantee.
Any damage caused to the heating system after the initial installation of floor coverings, including but not limited to damage caused by lifting, replacing, repairing the original covering laid after installation, is not covered by the Lifetime guarantee, any repairs carried out will be at the customers cost. The system should be maintained in accordance with the manufacturers guidelines, any damage caused by overheating due to misuse will result in a void in guarantee - this includes, any fixed appliances, units, fitted furniture, extra floor coverings (including dog beds, bean bags, rugs or mats).
This guarantee does not cover:
- any thermostats as these are covered by a separate two-year warranty from the date of purchase.
- our underwood foil heating mats as these mats are only provided with a 15 years warranty from the date of purchase.
Lifetime Guarantee applies:
1. Only if the product is registered (The warranty certificate must be signed and returned within 14 days of the installation, signed and sealed by an officially authorized electrician, who is responsible for the installation), and that the registration information is received and documented by warm-on Ltd., within 30 Days after purchase. You can register your product by completing the form included with the Installation Guide.
You have to send a copy of the registration form via email to: firstname.lastname@example.org
Proof of purchase must be presented to make a claim, so please ensure that you keep both your invoice and receipt in a safe place. Such invoice/receipt should clearly state the model that has been purchased and be in legible condition so as to aid in identifying the system.
2. Only if the Heating Mat /Heating Cable has been properly earthed and protected by a Residual Current Device (RCD) at all times.
Warm-on Ltd. are not held accountable for:
1. Damage or repairs as a result of incorrect installation or application.
2. Damages as a result of floods, fires, or any other conditions/ situations deemed beyond the control of warm-on Ltd.
3. Use of un-compatible components or accessories.
4. Products installed outside the United Kingdom.
5. Normal maintenance and care procedures as described in the Installation guide.
6. Parts not supplied or designated by warm-on Ltd.
7. Damages or repair required as a direct result of any improper use, improper maintenance, operation or servicing.
8. Failure to power up or start as a result of inadequate/interruption of electrical service.
Important Notes: warm-on Ltd. is under no circumstances responsible for repair or replacement of any tiles, floor or floor covering which may be removed or damaged during fault location or repair processes. Damage as a result of miss-use, improper installation, use of improper accessories or adhesives or unsuitable substrate conditions are in no event covered by any guarantee.
If you breach these conditions and we take no action, we will still be entitled to use our rights and remedies in any other situation where you breach these conditions.
11. EVENTS BEYOND OUR REASONABLE CONTROL
We will not be held responsible for any delay or failure to comply with our obligations under these conditions if the delay or failure arises from any cause which is beyond our reasonable control. This condition does not affect your statutory rights.
We do not sell products for purchase by children. If you are under 18 you may only use warmfloor24.co.uk with the involvement of a parent or guardian.
No part of this website or any of its contents may be reproduced, copied, modified or adapted, without the prior written consent of the author, unless otherwise indicated for stand-alone materials.
14. CHANGES TO TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Warmfloor24 is entitled to alter these Terms and Conditions at any time but this right does not affect the existing Terms and Conditions accepted by you upon making a purchase.
15. LAW & JURISTICTION
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and constructed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. You agree, as we do, to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
